Bike4Life Mali: 25th December 2010 - 3rd January 2011

This December the FOCUS challenge is going to the heart of West Africa as we cycle across the colourful villages and scenic cliff tops of Sub-Saharan Mali. In five days, we will cover a distance of approximately 400 km and visit a number of AKDN projects along the way including the magnificent Great Mosque of Mopti recently restored by the Aga Khan Trust for Culture.

The route is predominantly asphalt roads and low to medium gradient bike trails. Bicycles and basic camping accommodation will be provided.
